We are looking for graduates currently pursuing a third level qualification in Health and Safety.
Responsibilities
Carrying out the duties of Project Supervisor Design Process (PSDP) coordinator on projects of varying sizes and complexities
Carrying out design health and safety reviews with our design teams on projects
Providing advice to clients and designers in relation to construction, operational and occupational health and safety
Assisting the Company Safety Officers in the implementation of our occupational safety management systems (OHSAS 18001 accredited)
Carrying out design and construction safety reviews/inspections on construction sites and operational facilities
Qualifications and Preferences
Third level qualification in another technical area within the construction industry, e.g., Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management or similar
Knowledge of design and construction‑related health and safety legislation
Understanding of the PSDP role
Knowledge of Safety Management Systems
Excellent communication, interpersonal and writing skills
Pro‑active approach to gathering and processing information with good follow‑through to completion
Some construction site experience will also be an advantage
