HR Manager | Manufacturing Monaghan | 12-Month Fixed-Term Contract 4/5 day week | WFH 1 day An established manufacturing business is seeking an experienced and proactive HR Manager to lead the people agenda at a busy production site in Co. Monaghan. This is an excellent opportunity for an HR professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and partnering with operational leaders to drive employee engagement, performance, and organisational success. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement a site-based HR strategy aligned with business objectives. Deliver a high-quality HR service across the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, reward and recognition, and retention. Ensure HR policies and procedures are effectively implemented and maintained in line with best practice and employment legislation. Partner with site leadership to promote a high-performance culture focused on employee development and continuous improvement. Lead training and development initiatives, ensuring workforce capability and skills development support operational goals. Support strategic workforce planning by identifying future talent requirements, organisational risks, and development opportunities. Provide coaching and guidance to managers to strengthen people management capability and employee engagement. Lead and develop the site HR function, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment. Produce and analyse HR metrics and insights to support informed decision-making and drive business performance. Contribute to wider HR projects and people initiatives across the organisation. Candidate Requirements: Third-level qualification in Human Resources or a related discipline. Professional HR accreditation (e.g. CIPD) is desirable. Minimum of 35 years' HR experience, with strong exposure to generalist HR activities. Previous experience within manufacturing, food production, engineering, or a similar operational environment. Strong stakeholder management, communication, and influencing skills. Proven ability to build effective relationships across all levels of an organisation.
