In this role, you will take ownership of sourcing premium and artisan products, negotiating with suppliers, and ensuring the consistent quality and availability of our assortment. The ideal candidate has a proven track record in procurement, supplier management, and category oversight, with the ability to optimize sourcing processes and maintain strong commercial relationships. If you combine a passion for quality products with structured procurement expertise, this role offers the perfect opportunity to make a significant impact.Key Responsibilities· Supplier & Vendor Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, evaluating potential vendors, negotiating pricing, delivery terms, and contracts to ensure value, reliability, and quality for the store.· Product Sourcing & Assortment: Curate and manage a carefully selected range of high-quality products, ensuring alignment with store standards and customer expectations. Conduct quality assessments to maintain consistency and excellence.· Inventory & Stock Oversight: Monitor stock levels to ensure product availability and freshness. Implement efficient inventory management practices to optimise turnover and minimise waste.· Market Research & Trend Analysis: Keep abreast of trends in artisan, premium, and sustainable products. Provide insights to support product strategy and enhance customer satisfaction.· Order Management & Documentation: Prepare and process purchase orders, track deliveries, and verify shipments to ensure accuracy and timely receipt. Maintain clear procurement records for reporting and cost control purposes.· Customer & Internal Feedback: Gather input from customers and store teams on product quality and preferences. Use insights to refine product offerings and support strategic sourcing decisions.· Budget & Cost Control: Work within procurement budgets to achieve cost efficiency while maintaining high standards of product quality and customer satisfaction.Candidate ProfileDegree or equivalent experience in a relevant field (Supply Chain, Business or similar).Minimum 2 years' experience in procurement, supplier management, or category management, preferably in a structured, results-driven environment.Demonstrated ability to negotiate contracts, manage suppliers, and optimize sourcing processes.Administrative support experience is a plus.Experience as a Shop Assistant is beneficial.Strong analytical, organizational, and commercial skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.Genuine interest in artisan, premium, and sustainable products.Proficiency in Microsoft Office, EPOS experience highly desirable.Flexibility to work varied hours, including weekends and public holidays.Hours of Work: 39 per weekJob Type: Full-timePay: €34,000.00 per yearBenefits:Company eventsEmployee discountOn-site parkingStore discountWork Location: In person
