THE ROLE
We are seeking to appoint a Line Manager responsible for supporting and leading a department and team to deliver the best shopping experience for our customers. Reporting to the Deputy Manager, this role ensures we serve Ireland’s shoppers a little better each day.
* Create an inspiring and welcoming environment for colleagues and customers
* Be responsible for the store when the Store Manager/Deputy Manager are absent
* Ensure the team is fully trained and validated in their roles
* Foster two-way communication and a culture of trust
* Coach and manage colleagues to meet daily priorities and customer needs
* Analyze reports and systems to implement improvements for customers and colleagues
* Promote a culture of zero food waste by managing date codes and food safety
* Recruit passionate colleagues aligned with our customer service values
* Understand and deliver cleaning specifications through leading by example
* Manage stock control, warehouse layout, and routines for first-time accuracy
* Address pricing errors, overcharges, refunds, and labeling routines to ensure correct charges
* Oversee front-end operations to prevent queuing
* Recognize and give feedback on excellent service and address poor performance
Ideal candidates will demonstrate:

* Expertise as a go-to person for departmental queries
* Influence and shaping skills at senior levels
* Previous retail experience in a similar role (preferred)
