Our company is a leading global player in medical imaging, offering a wide range of pharmaceuticals, medical devices, digital and AI solutions. This role is an exciting opportunity to join our multicultural team of over 2,600 people across more than 20 countries.

The In-Process Quality Control Chemist will be responsible for providing analytical support to our 24/7 manufacturing operation. You will work on a fixed rotation cycle with 12-hour shifts and use a variety of analytical techniques to perform your duties.


About the Role

This role involves working closely with other teams to ensure the quality of our products. You will be responsible for performing in-process control activities, including chromatographic techniques and equipment control and calibration.

You will also be responsible for testing raw materials and ensuring compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).


Key Responsibilities

* Perform in-process control activities to support API manufacturing
* Test raw materials
* Record results accurately and interpret correctly
* Apply all relevant laboratory techniques and methods
* Train other QC analysts in laboratory methods and procedures
* Evaluate and address any deviations from standard operating procedures


Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

* A third-level degree qualification in a scientific discipline such as chemistry or biology
* Relevant experience in a similar role, although not essential
* Familiarity with HPLC, GC, and other analytical instrumentation
* Good computer skills, including experience with LIMS/Empower systems
