Key Role: Maintenance and Capital Project Specialist
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance and Capital Project Specialist to join our dynamic management team. In this pivotal role, you will drive reliability, efficiency, and innovation across all plant maintenance and capital projects.
The ideal candidate will be a proactive leader with a passion for continuous improvement and operational excellence. They will have strong technical knowledge in mechanical, electrical, and automation systems, as well as proven project management, team leadership, and regulatory compliance skills.
Responsibilities:
* Lead the maintenance function to ensure maximum equipment uptime and reliability.
* Oversee preventive and predictive maintenance programs to support production efficiency.
* Manage and mentor a skilled maintenance team, fostering a culture of safety and performance.
* Deliver capital projects from planning through execution, including equipment upgrades and facility improvements.
* Ensure compliance with health & safety, and environmental standards.
* Collaborate cross-functionally with production, quality, and safety teams to align maintenance and project goals.
* Drive automation and efficiency initiatives to reduce waste and enhance productivity.
Requirements:
* Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related) or equivalent experience.
* Minimum 5 years' experience in maintenance and capital project management, ideally in food manufacturing or FMCG.
* Strong technical knowledge in mechanical, electrical, and automation systems.
* Proven track record in project management, team leadership, and regulatory compliance.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and a continuous improvement mindset.
