Job Opportunity:
We are currently seeking an experienced Workshop Supervisor to lead and manage our busy workshop environment.
* The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in servicing and diagnosing articulated trailers, as well as a strong background in team leadership.
About the Role:
The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising and supporting workshop staff, performing diagnostic checks, repairs, and scheduled maintenance on articulated trailers.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead and manage day-to-day operations on the workshop floor.
2. Supervise and support workshop staff.
3. Perform diagnostic checks, repairs, and scheduled maintenance on articulated trailers.
4. Assign and schedule work effectively across the team.
5. Monitor and improve productivity levels and workshop KPIs.
6. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
7. Maintain high standards of workmanship and customer service.
8. Coordinate vehicle workflow and ensure accurate job tracking.
9. Carry out inspections and quality control checks before vehicle release.
10. Approve timesheets and ensure team adheres to clocking and conduct protocols.

* Workshop productivity and efficiency.

Requirements:
* Proven experience maintaining and repairing HGVs and trailers.
* Strong background in team leadership within a workshop environment.
* In-depth understanding of ABS & EBS trailer systems.
* Familiarity with CVR testing procedures and industry standards.
* Professional certification in mechanical servicing, diagnostics, welding, or similar trade.
* High level of technological literacy.
* Strong communication and time management skills.
* Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail.
* Full, clean Category B & C drivers licence.
