This is a part-time position (30 hours per week) on an initial Fixed Term Contract for a period of 2 years.
The geographical area incorporates Dublin, Wicklow, Kildare, Carlow, Offaly, Tipperary, Limerick, and Clare.
Office location negotiable.
Key Responsibilities Liaise with existing care providers to ensure appropriate care is in place.
Co-ordinate existing care arrangements Ensure a system is in place for the provision of support and care as required to the Sisters in the above geographical area.
Requirements for the Role Relevant experience in supporting or/and planning for care needs is essential.
A registered General Nurse on the Register of Nurses held by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI) would be an advantage or other health care professionals with relevant qualifications.
A knowledge of Adult Safeguarding and Child Protection policies and practices and current legislative and regulatory requirements pertinent to care of the Older Adult Ability to work independently and as part of an inter-dependent care team.
Good computer literacy skills with an ability to write reports as required.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Valid Irish drivers licence Travel between locations will be required.
