We're looking for an experienced barista to join our team
Our new brunch spot is looking for someone experienced with specialty coffee, who can handle all things drinks. This is for someone who can not only make a perfect coffee but can also keep their cool when it gets busy, help guide the team, and isn't afraid to jump in wherever needed - whether that's pulling a killer espresso, or helping clear a table.
If you're confident, know your coffee, and are ready to step into a hands-on leadership type role, we should talk.
What you'll be doing:
* Running the coffee station, including dialling in the coffee machine and grinders.
* Crafting our specialty drinks, from classic coffees to signature brunch cocktails.
* Implementing proper HACCP protocols and adhering to all relevant H&S guidelines.
* Naturally helping to guide and support the team when the pressure is on.
* Jumping into other tasks without being asked – we all muck in together.
You are:
* HACCP qualified and/ or confident in your knowledge of H&S protocols - able to implement required daily checks and maintain logs.
* Confident in your coffee skills and your ability to lead a busy station.
* The kind of person who sees a problem and finds a solution.
* Reliable, punctual, and bring positive energy to your work.
* Able to get along with anyone and communicate clearly.
* Happy to work both independently and as part of a tight-knit team.
What's in it for you:
* A competitive hourly rate + your share of tips.
* To be a part of a new and exciting team in a great location
* A real chance to grow your skills and take on more responsibility.
* The opportunity to help shape the drink offering as we grow.
