Job Purpose
Provide administrative support across all areas of Supply Chain
Reports To
Supply Chain Manager
Key Responsibilities
Responsibilities associated with this role include, but are not limited to:
* Entry of transport jobs on supplier portal
* Entry and provision of purchase orders for all transport jobs
* Monitoring of third-party storage and product movements with provision of purchase orders as required
* Support with monitoring of stock levels and movements of returnable materials, plastic trays, plastic pallets and palletainers. Logging on relevant portals
* P2D entries, linking batches with orders
* Support with monitoring of third-party label and pot inventory and update associated files
* Data entry on customs systems, as necessary
* Oversee the day-to-day inbound logistics operations and champion import documentation in support of Inbound Supply Manager
* Support in chasing inbound supply requirements with vendors
Skills / Qualifications / Experience
* Working in an office environment with experience of following procedures, data input, retrieval, and documentation control
* Confident with Microsoft suite especially excel. Confidence in pivot tables and data manipulation
* Previously experience in an administration role
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Excellent organisational skills
* Good attention to detail
* Strong team player with ability to work on own initiative
* Positive attitude and comfortable dealing with customers and suppliers
* Is flexible and adaptable
* Shows initiative and understands what needs to be done to be successful
* Works to high standards all the time
* Works well in a high pressured fast moving & changing environment. Rises to the challenge
Note: As with all positions, due to the dynamic nature of Arrow Group business, key responsibilities will evolve and change over time. Some travel will be required. Appointment to this role is subject to the candidate’s eligibility to work in Ireland.
