Hiring for a Senior Electrical Project Manager to be based out of the Athlone region on a permanent, full-time basis while being responsible for projects based in the Midland, Northwest and Eastern regions.Duties & Responsibilities:Report directly to the Operations Director, overseeing the full financial and operational management of multiple projects.Lead project teams to deliver high-quality installations, ensuring compliance with schedules, budgets, safety, and quality standards.Coordinate programming, planning, and reporting activities across all project phases.Attend and contribute to meetings with clients and design teams; maintain strong stakeholder relationships throughout project lifecycles.Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, approve mechanical installations, and ensure commissioning and testing meet quality requirements.Support business development efforts through tender review, contract negotiation, and valuation reporting.Manage QA process and ensure systems and process align with best practice and client requirements.Skills and RequirementsA degree in Electrical Engineering or Building Services Engineering (with an electrical focus) is required.The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a project management role, delivering large-scale technical projects.Experience working with a Mechanical and Electrical (M&E) Contractor in Ireland or the UK—preferably on Industrial, Data Centre, or Pharmaceutical projects—is strongly preferred.Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting, life safety systems, and electrical building services design, is essential.Familiarity with systems such as Building Management Systems (BMS), backup power (UPS/generators), instrumentation, and process control wiring is highly desirable.Ability to manage teams on multiple small projects simultaneously.
