Advert Text We are looking for an electrician to join our team in Ballycoolin Dublin 15 Based at our client site and reporting to the Maintenance Manager you will take ownership in providing electrical maintenance of plant equipment and machinery.
Working alongside our multiskilled maintenance and facilities teams, you will be responsible for ensuring maximum up-times for electrical components Working Pattern: Monday to Friday - 08:00 to 16:30 Main duties and responsibilities ? Must be able to work well with their hands and understand the complexities of their area of work.
? Using and maintaining specialised machines and tools.
? Assembling components so they are ready for installation.
? Reading and interpreting project plans.
? Coordinating with the labour crew for efficient installations.
? Carrying out planned maintenance checks.
? Responding to emergency calls.
? Conserving resources wherever possible to ensure budgetary integrity and client satisfaction.
? Carry out PPMs on equipment as required.
? Carry out fault resolution and repairs to broken down equipment.
? Maintain appropriate records in line with requirements.
? Assist in the installation of new plant and equipment.
? Ensure any training deemed necessary by your line manager is completed within the agreed timeframe.
? Sourcing and stocking of spare parts as required to ensure minimum stock levels are maintained in accordance with client requirements ? Always ensure compliance with Health and Safety and legislative requirements.
? Report of any accident, incidents and out of place findings to the line manager.
? You may be asked to work overtime to cover out of hours work as determined by the Engineering Manager.
? Take on ad hoc projects from time to time as deemed necessary by the Engineering Manager or an Apleona representative Qualifications and experience ? Electrical Senior Trades or Diploma in a relevant engineering discipline.
? Experience in the following areas - Utilities / Facilities.
? Proven track record in Preventative and Reactive Maintenance in a similar environment.
? Methodical, analytical and enthusiastic approach to work with good attention to detail.
? Team player with excellent customer service skills.
? Excellent communication skills both verbal
