Food & Beverage Supervisor – Pre-Opening Team at Moxy Dublin Docklands by Marriott
Location: East Wharf, East Wall, Dublin 3
What Youll Do
* Supervise daily operations across the bar, breakfast, and grab-and-go areas.
* Lead and motivate the F&B crew to deliver exceptional service with personality and pace.
* Ensure all food and beverage offerings meet Moxy brand standards — fun, fresh, and flawless.
* Manage stock levels, ordering, and waste control to keep things lean and efficient.
* Support the setup and implementation of F&B systems and procedures during pre-opening.
* Handle guest feedback with confidence and turn challenges into opportunities.
* Collaborate with the kitchen and front office teams to ensure seamless service.
Health & Safety Responsibilities
* Ensure compliance with all food safety, hygiene, and health regulations.
* Conduct regular checks and maintain accurate records of cleaning, temperature logs, and allergen controls.
* Support the training of crew members on safe food handling and emergency procedures.
Customer Care Focus
* Deliver warm, engaging service that reflects the Moxy spirit.
* Anticipate guest needs and personalise the experience wherever possible.
* Handle complaints with professionalism and a can-do attitude.
* Ensure wake-up coffee is hot, cocktails are cold, and smiles are always on the menu.
SOP Compliance & Review
* Review and maintain Standard Operating Procedures for all F&B areas.
* Ensure all crew are trained on current SOPs and updates are rolled out effectively.
* Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, service flow, and guest satisfaction.
Brand Standards & Flexibility
* Uphold Marriott and Moxy brand standards in every aspect of F&B delivery.
* Be flexible and hands-on, supporting other departments when needed.
* Embrace the dynamic nature of a pre-opening environment with energy and enthusiasm.
Communication
* Maintain clear and timely communication with the kitchen, front office, and management teams.
* Lead daily briefings and ensure all crew are aligned on goals, specials, and service standards.
* Document and escalate any incidents or feedback as appropriate.
What You Bring
* Previous experience in a supervisory F&B role, ideally in a lifestyle or boutique hotel.
* A passion for hospitality and a love for creating memorable guest experiences.
* Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
* A self-sufficient mindset — you're confident making decisions and leading the shift.
* Familiarity with POS systems and basic stock control processes.
