MEP Planner Responsibilities: Prepare detailed contract and project programmes, and produce ongoing monthly progress reports.
Monitor progress trends, outputs, and resources across multiple projects to support continuous learning within the planning department.
Complete all scheduling and reporting requirements for tenders and live projects, ensuring the highest standards are achieved.
Work closely with the project delivery team to provide support on all planning and scheduling activities.
Develop and maintain strong collaborative relationships with the wider project team, subcontractors, and stakeholders.
Undertake short- and medium-term planning reviews to identify risks, anticipate challenges, and implement mitigation strategies.
Analyse and challenge construction methodologies to drive innovation, efficiency, and best practice across all projects.
Necessary Requirements: Third-level qualification in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
Minimum 5+ years industry experience, ideally with a recognised main contractor.
Proven project planning and scheduling experience within the construction or civil engineering sectors.
Proficiency in Primavera P6, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft PowerPoint is essential.
Strong analytical, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with the capacity to work effectively in a collaborative environment.
