Accounting Support Role
* Assist senior accountants with financial tasks, including bookkeeping, VAT returns and accounts preparation
* Maintain accurate financial records using accounting software
* Process invoices, bank reconciliations and journal entries
* Support in preparing monthly management accounts and year-end financial statements
* Communicate with clients regarding queries and required documentation
* Ensure compliance with HMRC regulations and internal procedures
* Monitor and manage accounts payable and receivable
* Prepare and submit payroll information as required
Key responsibilities will include assisting senior accountants with financial tasks, maintaining accurate financial records and communicating with clients.
The ideal candidate will have prior experience in a practice environment, be qualified or working towards a relevant accounting qualification and possess excellent attention to detail.
