Assistant Store Manager Job Description

Job Title: Assistant Store Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced retail professional to join our team as an Assistant Store Manager. As a key member of our management team, you will play a critical role in driving sales growth, improving customer satisfaction, and developing our store teams.

Key Responsibilities:

* Lead a team of sales assistants to deliver exceptional customer service and achieve sales targets
* Assist the Store Manager in the day-to-day running of the store, including managing stock levels, controlling costs, and maintaining high standards of presentation
* Develop and implement strategies to drive sales growth and improve customer engagement
* Monitor and control shrinkage, ensuring that all company policies and procedures are adhered to
* Conduct regular performance reviews and provide coaching and development opportunities for team members
* Work collaboratively with other departments to ensure seamless communication and implementation of company initiatives

Requirements:

* Proven experience in a retail management role, preferably in a similar environment
* Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
* Strong business acumen, with the ability to analyze data and make informed decisions
* Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
* Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends
