KEY ACCOUNT MANAGER

Permanent Role

We offer a variety of tailor-made solutions for distribution, sales, and marketing, representing manufacturers of OTC, supplements, pharmaceutical, skincare, and beauty products.

We are looking for a skilled Pharmacy and FMCG Key Account Manager who is seeking to join a highly successful company with progressive plans for future growth. As a Key Account Manager, you will work with the entire product portfolio in our OTC & Supplements categories. You will have the freedom to create and develop strong customer relationships with existing and new B2B clients across various channels.

As the Pharmacy Key Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing the relationships with the company’s key customers. The ideal candidate will have experience building strong relationships with strategic customers, identifying needs and requirements to promote our company’s solutions, and achieving mutual satisfaction.

You will be responsible for driving revenue growth and market share of products by:

* Delivering excellent product education to pharmacy teams through effective collaboration.
* Activating trade marketing and promotional opportunities to maximize sales growth.
* Maintaining pricing records and implementing price increases as required.
* Reviewing promotions regularly and monitoring ROI.
* Analyzing account performance and forecasting demand based on trends, seasonality, and promotions.
* Leading the development of sales strategies for pharmacy products in conjunction with the Commercial Director, establishing budgets and revenue targets to contribute to national sales goals.
* Managing key accounts by creating annual plans and engaging with key customers and opinion leaders to ensure optimal customer engagement.
* Acquiring new accounts within target markets.
* Collaborating with Sales Managers, Territory Sales Managers, and the Central team on sales and marketing initiatives.
* Working closely with brand partners, principals, and marketing teams.
* Maintaining awareness of market trends, products, processes, and competitors.
* Maintaining customer trackers for key brands and products.
* Owning the trading and strategic relationship with customers, ensuring continued growth of your portfolio.

Essential Skills

* Strong key account management experience, ideally within a similar product category or sector.
* Minimum of 2 years’ experience in customer development and key account management in the pharmacy & FMCG sector.
* Strong communication skills capable of building robust working relationships.
* Strong P&L and forecasting skills.
* Proven ability to develop and implement successful business plans with key customers at head office level.
* Excellent presentation and negotiation skills, with influencing ability and commercial acumen.
* Evidence of negotiation skills and strategic growth contributions.
* Resilience, drive, and a track record of delivering outstanding results.
* Ability to strategize on brand growth within key accounts.
* Financial competence and analytical skills.
* Highly self-motivated with a can-do attitude.
* Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
* Full clean driver’s license.
* Third-level qualifications.
