Your New Job
You’ll take charge of a diverse range of audit and accounts assignments, managing projects from start to finish. You’ll work closely with partners on strategy and new business opportunities, while also guiding and mentoring junior staff.
This is a leadership role with potential for progression.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Oversee planning, execution, and completion of audit and accounts assignments across a broad client portfolio
Act as a senior client contact, offering practical advice on accounting, audit, and reporting matters
Review work prepared by team members to ensure technical quality
Manage budgets, timelines, and recoverability for assignments
Support partners in expanding the audit and accounts offering
Mentor and develop team members professionally and technically
Contribute to wider business development and cross-departmental projects
Represent the firm in professional and business forums where required
What Are We Looking For
Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or equivalent) with strong post‑qualification experience in a practice environment
Experience managing end‑to‑end audit and accounts projects for a varied client base
Strong technical knowledge of current financial reporting and auditing standards
Proven team leadership and mentoring ability
Excellent communication skills and commercial awarenessCollaborative, proactive approach
