About Leisure Centre Attendant Role
Leisure centre attendants play a crucial role in ensuring that our guests and members receive an exceptional experience. They must possess excellent organisational and leadership skills, a commitment to high standards, attention to detail, the drive and determination to be successful along with displaying a passion for the industry.
Main Responsibilities:
* To ensure the leisure centre operates efficiently and effectively at all times.
* To provide our guests and members with an excellent service.
* To maintain a safe and secure environment for leisure centre guests at all times.
* To clean and maintain the swimming pool and leisure area to required standards and health and safety regulatory standards.
* To assist persons attending the club, ensuring they are comfortable with exercise equipment.
* To maintain a clean and hygienic reception and leisure area.
* To comply with fire, safety, and hygiene regulations.
* To record any maintenance within the leisure areas.
* To demonstrate consistently excellent guest care at all times.
* To handle customer queries, requests, and complaints according to established procedures.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Commitment to customer service - essential.
* Lifeguard qualification - essential.
* Swim teacher qualification - desirable.
* ITEC/NCEF gym instructor qualification - desirable.
* Poll plant qualifications - desirable.
