Job Title: Lead Commercial Accountant for Financial Reporting
The role involves providing financial expertise to support the growth of the organization by leading commercial accounting activities, delivering timely and accurate financial reports, and maintaining effective relationships with stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and distribute weekly and monthly financial reports to senior stakeholders highlighting key trends and performance metrics.
* Collaborate with operational teams to clarify submissions and resolve queries ensuring seamless financial operations.
* Present financial updates to senior leadership focusing on revenue, cost, and margin trends.
* Partner with commercial teams to provide insightful financial commentary and support strategic decision-making.
* Apply knowledge of revenue recognition, contract accounting, and work-in-progress (WIP) accounting principles.
* Support the development and enhancement of reporting tools using Power BI to deliver improved financial insights.
