Lawler Consulting is a successful multi-disciplinary engineering business. We are HQ'd in Kilkenny, with offices in Dublin and London, and a client base that stretches across Ireland, the UK, Europe, and the Middle East.

Our CIBSE award-winning practice has successfully completed over 4,500 commissions, demonstrating extensive in-house experience through numerous projects. We emphasize staff development, learning, and progression. As we enter an accelerated growth phase across various sectors, we seek professional & enthusiastic Engineers to meet the increasing demand for our services.


The Role:

1. Take projects from the design stage, manage, and deliver them on time and within budget.
2. Communicate with clients and design teams to develop project design based on briefs.
3. Build strong relationships with clients and the design team.
4. Manage multiple projects on-site with support from the Design Department.
5. Conduct site surveys and relay findings to the Design Office.
6. Issue weekly reports to the Design Team and monthly cost reports to clients and the team.
7. Witness commissioning of HVAC, Electrical, and Life Safety Systems.
8. Snag installations upon completion.


Required Qualifications and Experience:

1. Third-level diploma/degree in Mechanical or Building Services Engineering or a trade background (e.g., HVAC, Plumbing).
2. Experience in client, project team, and contractor interactions.
3. Proven ability to deliver projects on time and within budget.
4. Knowledge of Irish Building Regulations, CIBSE Design Guides, British Standards, and Health & Safety Regulations.
5. Full clean Irish or European driver’s license.

8. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
9. Strong customer focus and stakeholder engagement.
10. Ability to work well independently and in a team.
