Meet The Team
We are seeking a Staff Data & Digital Systems Engineer to accelerate digital transformation across our new manufacturing site. You will define, drive, and deploy smart factory solutions, advanced analytics, and compliance‑ready shop‑floor technologies to improve safety, quality, and productivity – grounded in a patient‑first culture.
Where You Come In
Lead digital & process maturity assessments and define technology roadmaps (MES, AR work instructions, IIoT, analytics/AI, etc.).
Work on introducing immersive solution concepts including CAD integration; pilot and scale use‑cases with clear ROI.
Drive manufacturing analytics (OEE, FPY, yield, downtime) and collaborate with IT to operationalize AI/ML with MLOps.
Support OT/IT/Business systems integration to enable traceability and eDHR/eBR.
Ensure digital site readiness including IT systems availability, planning/financing, change management, and handover.
Support and drive alignment with Digital Lean principles.
Ensure GxP compliance, data integrity (ALCOA+), Cybersecurity (IEC 62443/NIST CSF), and audit readiness.
What Makes You Successful
Previously delivered digital factory solutions: MES/eDHR/eBR, AR work instructions, IoT/edge, analytics dashboards.
Proficient in Agile product ownership and stakeholder management.
GxP experience and familiarity with 21 CFR Part 11, ISO 13485 and ISO 14971 ideally.
Strong communicator and change leader with global deployment experience.
Additional experience: AR/VR platforms and hardware, CAD tools, Operational Excellence initiatives, and OT/IT system integration.
Education & Experience
Typically requires a bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline with 8–12 years of related experience; or a master’s degree with 5–7 years of equivalent industry experience; or a PhD with 2–4 years of experience, within regulated manufacturing environments (medical device experience preferred), including hands‑on shop‑floor experience.

Travel Required
5–15% (1 trip to one of our other manufacturing facilities).
