We are seeking a motivated Associate General Dentist to join a thriving dental practice in Wexford. This full-time opportunity offers the chance to work in a supportive environment with competitive compensation based on a percentage of chair revenue. Key Responsibilities
* Patient Care: Provide high-quality dental services, ensuring a friendly and comfortable experience for all patients. Build lasting patient relationships and promote regular check-ups.
* Dental Examinations: Conduct thorough dental assessments, identify issues, and develop comprehensive treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
* Restorative Dentistry: Perform a range of restorative procedures such as fillings, crowns, bridges, and root canal treatments, improving both function and aesthetics.
* Preventative Care: Promote preventive dentistry by educating patients on good oral hygiene practices, dietary impacts on dental health, and regular dental visits.
* Routine Procedures: Carry out routine dental treatments, including scaling, polishing, and fluoride treatments.
* Extractions & Minor Surgery: Perform tooth extractions and other minor surgical procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety throughout the process.
* Patient Records: Maintain detailed and accurate patient records, including treatment plans, medical histories, and follow-up appointments.
* Collaboration: Work alongside a team of dental professionals, including hygienists, dental nurses, and practice management, to deliver coordinated care.
* Compliance: Adhere to all clinical guidelines and maintain high standards in infection control and health and safety regulations.
Requirements
* Qualified Dentist with full registration and in good standing with the Irish Dental Council.
* Experience ingeneral dentistry within Ireland is highly desirable.
* Strong skills in a variety of dental procedures, including restorative and preventive care.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to delivering patient-focused care.
* Ability to manage time efficiently in a busy practice and provide quality treatment within scheduled appointment times.
* A team-oriented approach, working collaboratively with support staff and dental colleagues.
