Conveyancing Legal Secretary
This is an office-based position responsible for supporting the conveyancing team.
* Checking emails and instructions from fee earners;
* Scanning incoming post and capturing documents to relevant case management files and title deeds bundles;
* Reviewing lists of dictations in speech live/real estate folder and prioritizing tasks;
The successful candidate will have experience in conveyancing or property administration, with strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills. They will be proficient in using a case management system and possess strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Key Responsibilities:
* Typing draft letters for review and gathering enclosures;
* Amending draft documentation in Partner for Windows Case Management System;
* Objections and Requisitions on Title;
* Pre-Contractual Enquiries and Contracts for Sale;
* Deeds of Transfer, Declarations, Pre-Lease Enquiries, and Deeds of Renunciation;
* Screening calls for fee earners and typing notes;
* Scheduling title deeds and arranging safe off-site storage;
* Verifying bank account details;
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Conveyancing or property administration experience;
* Ability to prioritize workload with excellent attention to detail;
* Experience using a case management system;
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills;
* Ability to work efficiently to deadlines;
* Excellent organizational skills;
* Strong work ethic;
* IT skills including Word, Excel, Outlook, and case management.
