About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Pastry Chef to join our team. As a key member of our culinary staff, you will be responsible for preparing and presenting high-quality pastries and baked goods.
Main Responsibilities
* Ensure the bakery section is set up and ready for each service, fully stocked and prepared to meet shift demands.
* Store all food and ingredients correctly, including covers, labels, and dates, using proper containers to prevent waste and spoilage.
* Maintain the required quality and standards of products.
* Assist the Head Chef with SOP implementation and delivery.
* Prepare a variety of baked goods.
* Decorate and present pastries and baked goods attractively.
* Monitor and order ingredients, supplies, and equipment.
* Meet with customers to discuss custom-made desserts or baked goods for special occasions.
* E nsure the bakery section complies with health and safety regulations.
* Support other team members as needed to serve customers effectively and uphold the company's reputation.
Requirements
* A valid right to work in Ireland is required.
* Strong knowledge of pastry preparation and presentation techniques.
* Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
