Maintenance Electrician Opportunity
We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Electrician to join our facilities management team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing electrical cover and will interact regularly with plant operations during after-hours and weekend shifts.
* Troubleshoot and repair electrical components, panels, and systems.
* Install and maintain industrial communication systems, heavy-duty electrical equipment.
* Perform quality testing and inspections.
* Wire up, gland, terminate pumps, motors, VSDs, circuit boards, and panels, install new conduits, trays, ladders, and pull new cables where necessary.
* Provide out-of-hours support to plant operations during plant start-up, running, and shutdown activities.
The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and qualifications:
* A National Craft Certificate in Electrical Services is essential.
* Experience working in facilities management or on large commercial/industrial sites is required.
* An 18th Edition IEE Wiring Regulations qualification is mandatory.
* Previous experience working with BMS (Building Management Systems) and energy management systems is desirable.
* Experience with emergency lighting systems and fire alarms is also beneficial.
