Excel Recruitment is seeking an experienced, passionate, and highly motivated clinician to join a dedicated HSE Primary Care Team serving the Ballyfermot/Clondalkin area of Dublin. Role:
This role is offering a mixture of clinic, group and domiciliary work, in the areas of musculoskeletal and neuro gerontology. The candidate would ideally need access to a car for domiciliary work.
Summary:
Deliver meaningful intervention through a balanced mix of clinic, group therapy, and domiciliary work.
Act as a Lead Clinician, shaping service delivery and supervising Staff Grade Physiotherapists and students.
Be pivotal in promoting health, preventing falls, and supporting adults to live independently at home.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Act as lead clinician in assigned areas and manage a complex clinical caseload.
2. Provide comprehensive assessment, goal setting, treatment planning, and review for adults with MSK, neuro, mobility, and falls-related presentations.
3. Contribute to and lead on service development projects relevant to adult primary care.
4. Support and supervise staff grade Physiotherapists and students as appropriate.
5. Deliver physiotherapy interventions across varied settings including clinics and home visits.
6. Work collaboratively with clients, families, carers, and the wider MDT.
7. Document all client interactions in line with professional and departmental standards
8. Promote health and wellbeing with an emphasis on prevention and independence.
9. Participate in case conferences, review meetings, and multidisciplinary discussions.
10. Contribute to professional standards, best practice, and CPD.
Requirements:
11. Hold a Physiotherapy qualification recognised by the Physiotherapists Registration Board at CORU.
12. Minimum of three years of post-graduate Physiotherapy experience, with at least one year at Senior level (preferably in a community or rehabilitation setting).
13. Strong experience in, Rehabilitation, falls prevention, MSK, and/or Neurological Physiotherapy.
14. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating leadership and initiative.
15. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
16. Full clean driver's license and access to a car for community visits.
