Opportunity for Mechanical Maintenance Technician to join Operations & Maintenance team based in Dublin.
Role details
The role is a shift position working 12 hour shifts with shift allowance. Pattern is 4 days on 4 days off (Two thirds days and One third nights).
Overview of the Role
The Technician will work as part of the Operations & Maintenance team in providing Utilities in support of the client's business. Tasks include, but are not limited to, plant rounds; preventative and corrective maintenance, and plant repairs.
Day to Day of the Role / Responsibilities
* Rounds & readings of utilities systems (Water treatment; Waste Water neutralisation; Carbon Dioxide recovery; Nitrogen generation; Compressed air and refrigeration systems)
* Review spare parts requirements
* Complete on-site and vendor training
* Operation of site utilities in support of projects & commissioning
* Assist in definition of site safety systems
* Liaise with the contract team, client engineering and equipment vendors to ensure maximum uptime of all utilities plant and equipment
* Completion of all related documentation in compliance with site and regulatory rules and guidelines
* Delivery of delegated engineering tasks in compliance with good engineering practice and all regulatory, statutory and corporate requirements
* Keep training current in line with client’s requirements, i.e. SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures)
* All work on site to be carried out in accordance with site EHS (Environmental Health and Safety) rules and guidelines
Required Skills for the Role
* Mechanical engineering degree or diploma desirable
* 3+ years industrial experience in a similar role preferable
* Electrical/Instrumentation Senior Trade, City & Guilds or equivalent
* Senior Trades, City & Guilds or equivalent in Electrical
* Experience in Pumps, HVAC Systems, Compressors, Boilers, steam systems and ancillary services, (DHW skids), Chillers, Cooling Towers, Clean steam Boilers, Purified Water Systems, CIP systems, Low /Medium voltage Electrical Systems
