Sam Dennigan & Company uc, one of the largest Irish owned fresh produce and logistics company based in North County Dublin, are currently recruiting for an experienced Full-time Human Resource Officer to join our payroll team.
Normal working hours: 39-hour week Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm. Role based on site.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
* Act as point of contact for Recruitment Agencies in relation to supply of contract staff
* Co-ordinate new hires Induction and Health & Safety training, working closely with H&S department.
* Co-ordination and support for employee's life cycle - Pre-employment screening, conduct first round interviews, offer/regrets, contracts, induction, transfers, T&D, absence management, exit management etc.
* Co-ordinate, conduct and compile reports for investigations, disciplinary & grievance meetings, support in relation to employee relations issues, grievances and disciplinary issues.
* Maintaining information on the TMS system to ensure accuracy of data, ensure correct paperwork provided for all absences
* Support to the payroll team as required
* Compile data access requests in line with relevant GDPR legislation and update GDPR dashboards as required.
* Employee file management, update staff induction packs, employee handbooks as required.
* HR Reporting and update HR trackers on a weekly basis
* Dealing with day-to-day HR queries as they arise and administrative support to the HR function including the production and administration of general letters, and filing.
* Provide advice to employees and managers/ supervisors on company policy as it relates to HR policies and procedures
Skills / Requirements
The ideal candidate will have:
* Experience in HR in FMCG or Warehouse / Logistics environment an advantage
* Time and Attendance Management / HRIS systems experience an advantage
* Degree in Human Resource Management or working towards
* C.I.P.D qualified or working towards am advantage
* Excellent knowledge of employment law an advantage
* Proven ability to work within a team
* High level IT skills including excellent ability in all MS Office applications
* Excellent communication & inter-personal skills
* Excellent Spoken and Written English
* Ability to multitask, prioritise and work on own initiative
