We are currently seeking a skilled Automotive Service Technician to join our well-established team in Cork, Ireland. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of basic automotive systems, servicing, and repair procedures.
About the Role:
* Assist qualified technicians with diagnostics, repairs, and servicing of a wide range of vehicles.
* Perform routine maintenance tasks including oil changes, brake inspections, and tyre rotations.
* Support troubleshooting of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems under supervision.
* Develop hands-on experience with workshop tools, diagnostic equipment, and safety practices.
* Follow technical instructions, service manuals, and workplace procedures accurately.
* Ensure all work complies with industry standards, quality expectations, and safety regulations.
* Maintain a clean and organized workshop by keeping tools, equipment, and work areas tidy.
* Record completed tasks, parts used, and report progress to supervisors.
* Work collaboratively within a team environment while building independent problem-solving skills.
