Bid Coordinator A leading telecoms and energy contractor based in Kilkenny is seeking an experienced Bid Coordinator to join their team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the preparation, coordination, and submission of technical and commercial tenders, working closely with engineering, commercial, and senior management teams to ensure timely and compliant bid delivery.
This role suits a detail-oriented professional with strong organisational and communication skills and experience in managing complex proposals.
Role: Manage and coordinate the full tendering process from initial enquiry through to final submission.
Review and analyse Request for Proposals (RFPs) to fully understand client requirements.
Compile, prepare, and format technical and commercial proposals in line with client specifications and deadlines.
Liaise with internal departments and external stakeholders to gather all necessary technical, financial, and operational information.
Identify and assess risks within tender submissions and contribute to internal review processes.
Submit bids via client portals and manage all associated documentation.
Respond to client queries and provide additional information during the evaluation stage.
Assist with contract negotiations and handover to project delivery teams.
Maintain and update bid documentation, templates, and tracking systems.
Requirements: Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
5+ years experience in a bid coordination, engineering, or technical sales role, ideally within telecoms, energy, or infrastructure.
Proven experience preparing and managing technical and commercial proposals.
Knowledge of contract negotiation or execution is desirable.
Excellent communication and organisational skills with strong attention to detail.
Proficient in MS Office; experience with CRM or document management systems an advantage.
Full clean driving licence and legal right to work in Ireland.
Package: Salary circa €55k€65k (DOE).
