This role will be responsible for leading technical delivery, engaging with clients, translating business requirements into scalable data solutions, and owning end‑to‑end delivery across distributed teams.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the design and implementation of cloud‑native data platforms on Azure using Azure Databricks, Azure Data Factory, ADLS Gen2, and SynapseDrive end‑to‑end ETL / ELT pipelines using PySpark, SQL, and distributed processing frameworksEnsure scalable, performant, and reliable data processing aligned with business and analytics requirementsReview and govern technical architecture, data models, and transformation logicLead technical discussions, solution walkthroughs, and design reviews with business and IT stakeholdersProactively manage technical risks, dependencies, and mitigation plansWork closely with business teams to understand retail processes and data consumption patterns for analytics and reportingEnsure data quality, reconciliation, and consistency across downstream analytics and reporting platformsPlan execution, track progress, and ensure on‑time delivery against project milestonesEnforce best practices in coding standards, CI/CD, testing, documentation, and DevOpsCollaborate with cross‑functional teams including Data Engineering, Analytics, BI, Architecture, and Product OwnersRequired Skills & Experience12+ years of experience in Data Engineering and Analytics platformsStrong hands‑on expertise in Azure data services, PySpark, and SQLProven experience leading technical teams and driving delivery ownershipStrong understanding of retail data domains (Supply Chain, Sales, Customer, Finance, etc.)Experience working in client‑facing roles, with excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skillsAbility to work effectively across business, functional, and technical teamsNice to HaveExperience with large‑scale data modernization programsExposure to BI tools, self‑service analytics, and downstream consumption platformsExperience in distributed / global delivery modelsPersonalHigh analytical skillsA high degree of initiative and flexibilityHigh customer orientationHigh quality awarenessExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAll aspects of employment at Infosys are based on merit, competence and performance.
