With a network of offices in Europe, Asia and the US and a multi-discipline team of 3,800+ people, we deliver complex, capital projects in the life sciences, food and beverages, mission critical/ICT, advanced manufacturing, energy and environmental sectors.At present, we wish to recruit a Senior Contracts & Procurement Manager for international projects. European travel will be required.Working as part of the construction contracts procurement function and delivering within a project team, the role will be responsible for the development and award of construction contracts on fastrack projects.ResponsibilitiesSourcing and Pre-Qualification of ContractorsPreparation and issue of tendersCommercial and technical evaluation of tendersChairing clarification meetingsLeading commercial negotiationsPreparing recommendation reports for approvalPreparing and updating procurement strategiesPreparing and updating procurement reportsPreparation of contract documentsMonitor contractor performance and drive improvementContract management support during the construction phaseOther duties as directed by the Procurement Department ManagerQualifications20+ years of related experience in and a proven track record of large scale EPCM projects, in various global locations.Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or EngineeringDetailed knowledge of tendering and contract management methods and proceduresStrong legal grounding in construction contractsExperience of the main forms of contract in addition to bespoke formsHigh level of skill to evaluate bids and compile reports for use in determining successful offerExcellent organizational skills with the ability to prepare and maintain complex records and files in an automated systemExcellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to quickly build relationships with relevant partiesFlexibility and the ability to handle multiple requests from across several areasStrong sense of customer focus and teamworkSelf-starter with the ability to work on own initiative under minimal supervisionProficient in the use of Excel, and other Office softwareWhy PM Group?Our benefits include:Flexible working arrangements, including a hybrid working policyAn employee-owned share scheme.
