The Sales and Trade Development role is a dynamic opportunity to drive business growth in the spirits industry. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with On-Trade customers, identifying opportunities to enhance distribution and visibility, and implementing effective sales strategies.
Key Responsibilities
1. Account Management: Independently manage a portfolio of On-Trade accounts within a designated geographical area, with a focus on outlets aligned with the business brand segmentation model.
2. Brand Building: Develop and execute commercial strategies to enhance distribution and boost the rate of sale for a collection of globally acclaimed, award-winning spirits brands.
3. Sales Techniques: Utilize strategic selling techniques, commercial acumen, and the implementation of activation programs in key outlets to drive sales-out and consumer engagement.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Commercial Experience: 0-2 years of sales experience in the FMCG sector, with a distinct advantage if experienced in alcohol sales.
* Certifications: Hold a third-level qualification in Commerce, Management, Marketing, or a related field.
* Industry Knowledge: Understanding of the Irish On-Trade, along with some commercial experience, ideally in the spirits industry.
