We are seeking an experienced
Sales Manager
to support the continued growth of our
commercial solar PV and distributed energy portfolio
.
This is a key role focused on driving sales performance, developing bespoke solar PV solutions, and strengthening long-term client relationships across Ireland.
The Role
Lead the full commercial sales cycle from initial enquiry through proposal, negotiation, contract signing, and handover
Identify and develop opportunities with SMEs, corporates, and public-sector clients
Build strong relationships with developers, architects, engineers, and key stakeholders
Conduct site assessments and client consultations to assess technical and commercial feasibility
Support solution design through interpretation of PV layouts, grid requirements, and yield data
Collaborate with engineering and design teams using tools such as PVSol, PVSyst, or Helioscope
Prepare and manage proposals, tenders, ROI models, and commercial contracts
Track pipeline activity and sales performance via CRM
Contribute to commercial strategy, market engagement, and continuous sales process improvement
Requirements
Degree in Engineering, Renewable Energy, Electrical Engineering, or related discipline
3–5+ years' experience in technical sales or business development within solar PV, renewables, or engineering services
Strong understanding of solar PV systems, components, and grid connections
Proven experience managing tenders, bids, and contract negotiations
Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
Full clean driving licence and willingness to travel nationally
Right to work in Ireland
