Associate Director, Supply Chain Transformation
Role Purpose
Reporting to the VP of Global Supply Chain Operations, the Director leads business transformation through the deployment of advanced planning systems (e.g., Kinaxis, SAP S/4 HANA) and the integration of AI/automation into core supply chain processes. The role oversees the Supply Chain Centre of Excellence (COE) and drives continuous improvement of the Sales, Inventory & Operations Planning (SI&OP) process for a large private-label generics business.
Key Responsibilities
Digital Transformation & Systems Enablement
* Lead deployment, optimization, and user adoption of planning platforms such as Kinaxis Maestro and SAP/S4 HANA.
* Serve as the primary link between Supply Chain, Technology, and business stakeholders.
* Support system integration, data governance alignment, dashboard performance, and closed-loop planning.
* Embed AI and agentic automation into planning and decision-making processes.
AI Implementation & Business Process Optimization
* Identify automation opportunities and design phased implementation roadmaps.
* Deploy scalable AI and automation tools (e.g., Microsoft 365 Copilot, GenAI).
* Build internal AI capability and promote a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
* Establish KPIs to measure automation impact and drive refinement.
COE Leadership
* Lead and develop the Supply Chain COE team.
* Strengthen expertise in digital planning tools and support user training and adoption.
* Promote collaborative, growth-oriented leadership behaviors.
Sales, Inventory & Operations Planning (SI&OP)
* Lead end-to-end SI&OP cycles, including supply reviews, risk assessments, and contingency plans.
* Align supply forecasts with financial plans and balance capacity, procurement, inventory, and distribution.
* Standardize planning processes, tools, and templates.
Performance Metrics & Continuous Improvement
* Define and monitor key supply chain performance metrics.
* Improve planning accuracy, system utilization, and operational efficiency.
* Support new feature rollouts, upgrades, and documentation updates.
Qualifications
* 10+ years of professional experience, including 4+ years in management.
* Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, or equivalent.
* Preferred: APICS/ISM certifications, Six Sigma Black Belt/Master Black Belt.
* Deep experience with advanced planning systems (Kinaxis, SAP IBP, o9, Blue Yonder) and AI-driven supply chain transformation.
* Strong project management, stakeholder engagement, and communication skills.
* Proven success in operations, planning, and business transformation.
