Health, Safety & Environmental Officer
P&D Lydon is seeking a SHEQ Officer to join our dynamic civil engineering company.
The role involves:
Carrying out regular site audits, inspections, and mentoring across all company sites.
Attending and contributing to safety meetings.
Developing, maintaining, and communicating health and safety policies, procedures, risk assessments, and safe operating practices.
Supporting the investigation of accidents, incidents, near misses, and dangerous occurrences.
Delivering health and safety inductions and internal training programs.
Promoting Health, Safety & Environmental awareness.
Supporting the maintenance and continuous improvement of the company's accreditation systems (Safe-T-Cert, ISO 14001, ISO 9001, ISO
Providing support to site teams with SHEQ administration and documentation.
Education & Qualifications:
Minimum Level 6 (or higher) qualification in Occupational Health & Safety.
A full, clean driving licence is essential.
Knowledge and proficiency in SHEQ digital systems and Microsoft Office applications (desirable).
Manual Handling and/or other relevant instructor certification (desirable).
Familiarity with Safe-T-Cert, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 systems (desirable).
At least 2 years of experience in a similar role.
Site Locations:
Primarily Limerick, Galway & Mayo.
With nationwide travel required.
