This role is critical in maintaining the availability, security, and performance of the application by ensuring timely updates and smooth version transitions.Key Responsibilities:Plan, test, and implementupgrades of ManageEngine Applications Manageracross environments (Dev, QA, Prod).Coordinate with stakeholders to determine upgrade timelines,impact assessments, and rollback strategies.ReviewManageEngine release notes, assess compatibility and dependencies with OS, databases, and plugins.Performpre-upgrade backups, data integrity checks, and configuration exports to safeguard against data loss.Install and validate new versions or patches, ensuringminimal service disruption.Troubleshoot and resolve post-upgrade issues, including performance anomalies and plugin reconfigurations.Maintainupgrade documentation, including version history, system configurations, and change logs.Work with ManageEngine support to resolve technical issues related to the upgrade.Automate upgrade tasks where applicable usingscripts (PowerShell, Shell, Python).Providetraining and handover documentationto support staff post-upgrade.Collaborate with InfoSec teams to ensure the upgraded version meetssecurity and compliancestandards.Required Qualifications:5+ years of experience with enterprise application administration or upgrades. (preferred experience in AppMan upgrade in the past)Hands-on experience with ManageEngine Applications Manager, including version migration and configuration.Solid understanding of infrastructure components:Windows/Linux servers, PostgreSQL/MSSQL, SNMP, WMI.Ability to perform root cause analysis and resolve complex application-level issues.Excellent communication skills for cross-functional coordination.
