Morgan McKinley are seeking a Buyer to join a growing organisation in the construction industry in Dublin.
You'll play a key role in ensuring project materials and services are delivered efficiently, on time, within budget ensuring best value while maintaining strong supplier relationships. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced procurement professional to join a forward-thinking team, contributing to exciting and high-impact projects.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
* Source and procure materials, equipment and services for projects
* Negotiate pricing, terms, and framework agreements with suppliers
* Monitor and manage supplier performance, ensuring quality and compliance
* Build and maintain strong supplier relationships to support long-term procurement strategy
* Work with internal stakeholders to forecast material requirements and manage lead times
* Track and report on purchasing KPIs, cost savings, and budget adherence
* Maintain accurate procurement records, including contracts and delivery schedules
* Ensure all procurement complies with company policies and relevant regulations
* Support tender processes by providing material pricing and availability information
Key Requirements:
* 3+ years experience as a Buyer, ideally within construction, engineering, manufacturing, or a similar technical sector
* Strong negotiation and supplier management skills
* Commercially savvy with excellent organisational abilities
* Comfortable working in a fast-paced, project-driven environment
