You will be part of a collaborative environment delivering technical solutions for roads, active travel and public transport schemes.
Job Description
We are looking for graduates who are flexible, eager to learn and able to apply engineering knowledge across a range of public and private projects. You will assist in design, analysis, site visits, stakeholder communication and project coordination, and support senior engineers in delivering sustainable and high‑quality road infrastructure.
Responsibilities
* Design and draft transport solutions for national and regional infrastructure schemes.
* Attend site visits and inspections to gather information and monitor progress.
* Analyse data and produce technical reports and updates.
* Coordinate project activities and liaise with stakeholders.
* Assist senior engineers in technical support and project delivery.
* Contribute to the development of sustainable design solutions in line with the Future Ready® initiative and Net Zero objectives.
Qualifications
* Graduated with at least a 2:2 in a master’s or bachelor’s degree relevant to the role.
* Passion for engineering, creativity and problem‑solving skills.
* Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
* Proposed start dates are either April or September 2026.
* Completion of the online skill enabler assessment and application form is mandatory.
Graduate Development Programme
Our two‑year Graduate Development Programme offers blended learning, core business and professional skills training, career development workshops, mentoring for professional registration and practical on‑the‑job experience. You will be supported through enrolment in a professional institution’s training agreement, guiding you towards chartered or incorporated status with ICE or other relevant bodies.
