Details of Service The HSE provides a wide range of community and hospital-based Mental Health services across Ireland.

CAMHS offers assessment and treatment for young people up to 18 years and their families experiencing mental health difficulties such as depression, anxiety, eating disorders, and ADHD.

Reporting Relationship The post reports to the Assistant Director of Nursing, as relevant, and is accountable to both the Assistant Director of Nursing and the Area Director of Nursing.
Purpose of the Post The Clinical Nurse Specialist (Mental Health) role aims to:
Deliver care aligned with the five core concepts outlined in the Framework for the Establishment of Clinical Nurse Specialist Posts, 4th edition, NCNM 2008.
Work as a key member of the multidisciplinary Mental Health team, providing patient/client-centered, quality care.
Focus on assessment, planning, delivery, and evaluation of care for patients/clients and their families.
