The role of the inventory controller is is to ensure that the physical inventory in the Kuehne+ Nagel Warehouse is in the system of record. Responsible for the successful operational execution of the logistics administrative function for the site. The role will ensure that the department operates to "Best in Class" quality standards and in an environment of conscious improvement. The key area of responsibility is to maintain and develop the relationship with our customer to ensure a best in class service and ensure inventory accuracy is in line agreed KPI'sResponsibilities· Ensure that all inventory received into the Warehouse is inputted to the relevant Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)· Maintain the Cycle Count program to ensure that will ensure that all inventory is counted accurately within the agreed schedules.· Understand and follow the principles of the entire portfolio of Work Instructions (WI) Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) concerned with the products and the customer.· Ensure that all documentation is 100% accurate before departure of goods from Kuehne + Nagel facilities.· Maintain and segregate all quarantine stocks as per Kuehne + Nagel's procedures.· Report all inventory non-conformities to your Manager.· Develop, maintain and work to the Key Performance Indicators (KPI) to measure performance, stock accuracy, receiving or pick errors.· Provide the highest standards of Customer Service to ensure absolute customer satisfaction.· Respond to all queries in a timely manner with accurate and complete information.· Preparation of daily/weekly/monthly/annual reports as required.· Manage a complete adherence to the principles of Good Distribution Practice (GDP) and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) for Pharmaceutical Products within the customers supply chain for which Kuehne + Nagel services are in scope.· Compliance with Quality processes and procedures· Identification of Continuous Improvements initiatives· Report all inventory non-conformities to your Manager & Customer.· Accurate and efficient reporting on a daily basis both internal and external.· Cross training of all staff to ensure adequate cover is available across the logistics department for holidays department/sick cover.· Compliance with Quality processes and procedures.Experience required· Experience in a similar position in the past and distribution expertise.· Warehouse management system experience.· Experience or awareness in a lean six sigma principals would be an advantage· Preferable to have excellent multi modal Freight & Logistics understanding.· Knowledge of completing EUR1, ATR and C.C.O. documents.· Proven inventory management skills.· Excellent communication skills and ability to escalate internally in a correct manner.· Highly proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and Outlook), Sap experience is desirable.· AS400 system experience is desirable however not required· Data Accuracy· High attention to detailJob Type: Full-timePay: €28,000.00-€30,000.00 per yearBenefits:Bike to work schemeCompany pensionOn-site parkingAbility to commute/relocate:Swords, County Dublin: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)Work Location: In person
