Our client is a highly regarded investment firm with a growing footprint across Ireland and the globe. They are seeking a Senior Financial Accountant on a permanent basis. This position sits within a collaborative and high-performing team and offers strong exposure across financial reporting, internal controls, FP&A and process improvement initiatives. It represents an excellent opportunity for a technically strong accountant who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment with meaningful business impact.Main Responsibilities:Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with IFRS and local accounting standards, ensuring accuracy and compliance.Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes, including reconciliations, journal entries, and reporting.Ensure strong internal controls by monitoring, documenting, and improving accounting processes and procedures.Support budgeting, forecasting, and FP&A activities, providing insights and variance analysis to management.Coordinate with auditors and regulatory bodies, providing required information and supporting audit processes.Drive process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and reporting timelines.Provide guidance and support to junior accounting staff, fostering knowledge sharing and development.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights that support business decisions.Monitor compliance with corporate policies, tax regulations, and statutory requirements, escalating issues as necessary.Contribute to special projects such as system implementations, business expansions, or strategic initiatives with financial impact.Requirements:Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA)Minimum of 3+ years' post-qualification experience, ideally within financial servicesStrong financial control and reporting experienceBackground in audit or regulated environments advantageousExcellent Excel skills and strong analytical capabilityHighly organised with strong attention to detailStrong interpersonal skills and ability to engage effectively with stakeholdersProactive mindset with the ability to drive improvementsPackage:Competitive salaryBonusPensionHybrid and flexible working arrangementsHealthcareLong list of other benefitsFor more information please contact Simon Morris in Morgan McKinley via LinkedIn DM or
