Woodie’s, the market leader DIY, Home and Garden Retailer in Ireland and an official “Great Place to Work,” is seeking an enthusiastic & driven Digital Marketing Executive to join our expanding Support Office Marketing & Digital team. This role offers an opportunity to join a dynamic team and contribute to the success of a much-loved Irish brand.


Accountability:

This exciting role is for a creative, social media-savvy digital marketing executive. The primary focus is on planning, creating, and reviewing content for our social media channels, managing influencer partnerships, and supporting the Digital Marketing Manager with broader digital marketing efforts. As a key member of the Digital & Marketing team, you will shape and deliver Woodie’s brand vision across social platforms, driving engagement, brand growth, and commercial performance during an ambitious expansion period.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Create, own, and manage the content calendar across all digital channels, including social media, influencer campaigns, search, and SMS, aligning with brand campaigns, trading priorities, and business objectives.
2. Monitor cultural moments, trends, and competitor activity; share insights to inform content strategy and engagement.
3. Lead influencer strategy execution: identify, brief, manage influencers, oversee content delivery, report on performance, and explore new partnership opportunities.
4. Manage Paid Digital Agency support, including briefing, measurement, reporting, and ROI analysis.
5. Manage budgets for influencer marketing, paid social, and organic content, ensuring spend aligns with campaign goals and ROI targets.
6. Collaborate with Commercial, eCommerce, Store, and Online teams to ensure digital content supports trading plans and stock levels.
7. Work with in-house creative content teams and agencies to brief, co-create, and deliver high-quality content consistent with brand tone and campaign messaging.
8. Create ad copy for social media and digital marketing ads, ensuring message clarity and consistency.
9. Contribute to integrated marketing plans across CRM, PR, Events, Paid Media, and Retail for cohesive campaigns and customer experiences.
10. Monitor and report on content performance using tools like Google Analytics, Meta Insights, and Google Ads; optimize strategies accordingly.
11. Champion process improvements to evolve workflows and efficiencies.


Experience & Qualifications:

* At least two years of relevant experience in a brand or agency setting, with proven success.
* Passionate about social media marketing, digital native, with comprehensive platform knowledge and content creation skills.
* Minimum of 2 years’ experience in marketing, content, social media, or influencer management roles.
* Team player capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment and aligned with Woodie’s Core Values.
* Bachelor’s degree in marketing or a related field is desirable.
* Proven ability to craft engaging, brand-aligned content and execute successful digital campaigns.
* Strong understanding of performance metrics and reporting tools such as Google Analytics, Meta Business Suite, and Google Ads.
* Excellent communication skills, confident in cross-functional collaboration and managing agency or talent relationships.
* Highly organized, detail-oriented, and adept at managing multiple projects with deadlines.
* Creative thinker with a commercial mindset, balancing brand storytelling with performance goals.
