Junior Electrical Engineer – 13081

Junior Electrical Engineer required for a Tier 1 M&E contractor based out of their offices in Dublin. The successful Engineer will be responsible for supporting the pre-construction team for several Data Centre Projects in Ireland and Mainland Europe.
Responsibilities:
1. Work closely with designers to enhance detailed design proposals.
2. Review the project design and investigate alternative construction approaches.
3. Analyse the construction methodology to reveal program implications and temporary works needed.
4. Collaborate with the supply chain to establish subcontract packages.
5. Assess subcontract proposals and generate a technical/commercial analysis for preferred bidder selection.
6. Examine project logistics to determine required temporary works for construction and management.
7. Define site setup and compound, detailing preliminary project requirements.
8. Identify and mitigate project risks, crafting mitigation plans.
9. Explore different aspects of the project and tendering procedures.
Requirements:
1. A degree in Electrical or Building Services Engineering.
2. 2 years+ post grad experience.
3. Experience working on large construction projects is advantageous.
4. Excellent IT skills.
5. Fluent English with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
6. Ability to work to strict deadlines.
