Business Development Manager
. This role will be instrumental in driving strategic growth and expanding the organisation's presence across the Leinster region.
This opportunity is ideally suited to a commercially astute individual who thrives in a fast-paced, B2B sales environment and has a passion for identifying new opportunities, building strong relationships, and delivering sustainable revenue growth. Key Responsibilities
* Develop and implement a strategic business development plan to drive growth across the Leinster region.
* Identify and pursue new commercial opportunities through proactive lead generation, networking, and market insight.
* Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key clients and prospects.
* Understand customer challenges and develop tailored solutions that align with their business objectives.
* Manage the full sales cycle from initial engagement through to proposal, negotiation, and deal closure.
* Collaborate with internal departments including operations, marketing, and customer service to ensure seamless delivery of client solutions.
* Maintain accurate records of business development activity using CRM tools and regularly report on key performance metrics.
Candidate Profile
* A proven track record in business development, B2B sales, or key account management – ideally within distribution, safety products, or workplace solutions.
* Strong commercial acumen and experience in negotiating and securing high-value contracts.
* Excellent relationship-building and communication skills.
* Self-motivated and results-driven, with a proactive approach to achieving targets.
* Strategic thinker with the ability to analyse client needs and formulate effective sales strategies.
* Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively as part of a wider team.
* Full, clean UK or Irish driving licence is essential.
