About Your New Job
As the
Senior Financial Accountant
, your role will be a mix of technical accounting, investigation, process improvement, and business partnering.
In this role, you will:
* Prepare reconciliations of general ledger and subledger accounts for various projects and investments.
* Produce spend reporting for projects and investigate variances or anomalies.
* Resolve issues relating to project spend, ledger discrepancies, and intercompany transactions.
* Prepare journal entries, account analyses, reporting schedules and supporting documentation.
* Review and submit intercompany recharge schedules, invoices, and journals.
* Support the annual budgeting process and track variances throughout the year.
* Assist with the month-end close process when required.
* Support strategic financial analysis and forward-looking business projects.
* Document processes, recommend improvements, and maintain internal controls.
* Work collaboratively with finance colleagues and cross-functional support teams.
What Skills You Need
* Qualified Accountant (
CIMA / ACCA / ACA /CPA or equivalent)
with relevant practical experience in a similar role
* E
xperience with
Power BI
,
Hyperion
, or similar is an advantage.
