We are seeking a dynamic retail assistant to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis, 5 days a week (including weekends), at our book store on Lavitt's Quay. This is a full time permanent position, not a summer or student job.
Our ideal candidate must have a wide and varied interest in/knowledge of literature and books, and/or extensive retail experience.
The ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment is essential, as is a can-do attitude with a strong work ethic and a fantastic eye for detail. You will need to be ambitious, practical, organised, flexible, motivated, hard-working and adaptable to change. You will maintain excellent shop floor presentation and ensure adequate stock levels are maintained at all times.
Extensive training will be provided and there are opportunities for advancement.
