We are hiring a CNM2 /Clinical Nurse Specialist Radiotherapy for a Hospital in Galway, Ireland.
This role is on a permanent, part time basis working 20 hours per week Key Responsibilities The development and provision of nursing services in the radiotherapy department will be coordinated, managed, and led by the Clinical Nurse Manager 2/Clinical Nurse Specialist.
Clinical and professional leadership within the nursing team will be the main responsibility of the Clinical Nurse Manager 2/Clinical Nurse Specialist.
Through the integration, coordination, and management of activities and resources within the clinical area, Exhibit a high level of ability and competency to support the efficient, effective, and supportive treatment of patients.
Candidate will be essential in educating patients and their families about their treatment plan, care plan, any side effects, and how to manage them.
Requirements Current NMBI general registration in the General Division Preferable qualifications include a bachelor's degree, managerial training, and/or postgraduate training in radiotherapy or oncology.
5 years of nursing experience overall, including 2-3 years of experience in radiotherapy, oncology, or a similar field Possess demonstrated managerial, clinical, leadership, and customer service skills Strong interpersonal and communication abilities Proactive planning with efficient resource coordination Workplace adaptability.
