The Courts Services has two vacancies for HR Business Partners to engage with Managers in the delivery of HR services. One is a replacement, and the other is a newly created role.
Role 1 (replacement role)
Develop and implement targeted recruitment campaigns to attract top talent to ensure hiring the right people, at the right place, at the right time.
Support and advise managers and employees on HR matters including resourcing, employee issues, HR operations, policies and procedures, HR transactions and query management.
Lead, manage and develop the HR Operations team and support them to achieve their business goals as well as their learning and development goals.
Manage the recruitment calendar and ensure the efficient running of all recruitment activity.
Develop innovative ways to attract people including intern and graduate programmes.
Candidate Experience
Ensure a seamless and positive experience for hiring managers and candidates throughout the recruitment process.
Develop and deliver training programmes for hiring managers to ensure they are equipped with the skills and knowledge to effectively evaluate candidates and make selection decisions.
Explore avenues to attract and select those most suited to work in the Courts Service. This will include developing close working relationships with universities, local schools, colleges and Institutes of Technology to develop school leaver, intern, graduate and experienced hire programmes.
Employer Brand
Support the development of our employer brand whereby the Courts Service is perceived as a leading employer across the country and a destination for those seeking to work in the legal system.
Develop an understanding of the current labour market and the needs of today’s applicants.
Ensure our website and social media presence is optimised for attracting candidates.
HR Operations
Oversee the administration of joiners, leavers, mid-career moves and all other HR transactions to ensure they are carried out on a timely basis and errors are minimal.
Ensure controls are in place to mitigate risks
Continually improve our systems to optimise efficient ways of working and improve the user experience

Role 2 (new post)
As part of its People and Organisation Strategy the Courts Services is continually looking at better ways of working and optimising the use of digital technology and using data to inform decision making.
This role will include upgrading and optimising the use of our Time and Attendance system to all users nationwide and our Applicant Tracking System,
Work closely with ICT to implement system upgrades, to integrate our data and HR processes and realise better ways of working
Partner with managers and staff to deliver User Support and Training so they understand how to effectively use our systems.
Support the development of HR KPIs, reporting dashboards and data portals to inform HR and operational decision‑making.
Contribute to developing procedures related to HRIS usage, ensuring that all operations align with our People & Organisation goals and our risk and compliance requirements.

Person Specification
Qualifications
A third level qualification to a minimum of FETAC Level 7 in a subject related to HR, Business or Law is essential.
Post graduate qualification in HR, Data analytics or coaching is desirable.
Experience
Five years of generalist HR experience required.

Good written and verbal communication skills to convince and persuade others to a course of action.
Strong interpersonal skills so can develop good working relationships and provide exceptional customer service to stakeholders.
